WHEN ARE THE LESSONS GIVEN?
Answer: Once a week on Tuesday’s, a lesson will be available to watch through an app. Once the video has ended, you have the freedom to watch each lesson as many times as you’d like. Homework will be available the very next day.
WHAT PIANO OR KEYBOARD IS RECOMMENDED FOR PRACTICE?
Answer: There is no simple answer, as your choice would depend on several factors such as budget, mobility, etc. However, I’d strongly recommend a Yamaha P45, 88-Key weighted action digital piano. It’s great for beginners and provides a weighed-key action touch just as the hammers inside an actual acoustic piano. The keyboard itself weighs only 36lbs.
“It’s great working with Latavius. Even though I think I sound horrible, you keep telling me I’m sounding good. Each class, you take a hands-on approach that works, even when I get frustrated. Plus, I like the the way you start by teaching basic chords, then going back to color it up.”

- Jeni (Jeni's Ice Cream)
He's taught me different chords [major, minors, major 7ths, sus etc.] … and to hear the difference between them. This journey has really been a great experience, and I look forward to continue to imporve my skills in working with him.
